At Servomex, our global mission is to enable change through advanced gas analysis. Headquartered in Crowborough, our UK Technical Centre brings together multidisciplinary teams who collaborate to design and deliver next-generation solutions used in critical environments worldwide.
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead multi-discipline hardware and software engineering teams. This is a senior leadership role combining strong technical capability with inspirational people leadership, influencing across the business and shaping how we innovate, develop and deliver.

What you’ll do
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams within our UK Technical Centre
- Own technical delivery across new product introduction and existing product lifecycles
- Partner with Product Management to align technology roadmaps and value propositions
- Enable customer-centric design with direct customer interaction and solution validation
- Embed Lean and Agile ways of working and improve R&D efficiency through KPIs
- Champion innovation, new technologies and pragmatic enablers such as rapid prototyping
- Support IP protection and external partnerships
What we’re looking for
Essential:
- Proven experience performing in a technical leadership role leading multidisciplinary hardware and software engineering teams
- Successful delivery of complex new products
- Project delivery experience including Agile approaches
- Strong commercial and stakeholder awareness
- Coaching leadership style with a passion for developing others
- Good understanding of business management including standards and procedures and business finance.
- Ability to lead new product introduction across functions ensuring buy in from product management, marketing, operations, manufacturing engineering, customer support, service and sales.
- Knowledge of Lean R&D processes and tools such as DFSS and Scrum.
- A proven track record in coaching/mentoring others to develop their potential and inspire them
Qualification:
- Degree in an engineering or science discipline
