This is a remote-based position, but candidates must reside within the South Yorkshire region to facilitate occasional in-person meetings and collaboration (office Location S60).You will part of Global Corporate Finance Team supporting the Senior Financial Controller and the Head of Corporate Finance, Rest of Europe Cluster for UK, France, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland.**Responsibilities*** Ensuring accounting records are complete and accurate through delivery of the monthly close process.* Consolidated month end reporting within IFRS framework* Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, prepare and submit tax returns, and provide tax planning advice.* Management and control of Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss account* Attend regular meetings with the Senior Financial Controller and the Head of Corporate Finance, Rest of Europe Cluster.* Supports the Senior Financial Controller with preparation of working papers and other management information as required.* Making sure internal controls and processes are complied with and adhered to.* Involvement in project accounting and ERP implementation.* Assist with the preparation of consolidated statutory accountsThis position would offer an exposure to all aspects of financial and management accounting up to the submission of the results to the Group.
