You will take ownership of ensuring that components from our suppliers meet the standards our products demand. When something isn’t quite right, you’ll spot it, assess the risk, and work with internal teams to keep production running smoothly. • Monitor and analyze supplier performance metrics to identify underperformance and collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement effective improvement plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier‑related quality issues, including issue validation (drawing reviews & part measurements) and driving suppliers to implement robust corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead and support supplier meetings with both strategic and under‑performing suppliers to ensure effective communication, address operational challenges, and promote continuous improvement.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI/NVI) projects by ensuring timely and accurate completion of FAIRs and PPAP documentation for new components.
  • Lead and coordinate supplier 8D (CAPA) activities in response to customer and production issues, ensuring thorough root‑cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions.
  • Promote structured problem‑solving methodologies, utilising tools such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa, and A3 reports to drive effective resolution of quality issues.

About you:

  • Hands‑on mentality with a proactive, solution‑focused approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
