About the role

As a key member of the Finance team, you'll lead the financial workstream across the full M&A lifecycle, from early stage assessments through to post deal performance tracking. You will collaborate with senior leaders across Finance, Strategy, the Executive Team and external partners such as KKR, providing trusted financial advice throughout each transaction. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to broader finance priorities, including strategic planning and long term financial modelling.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare high quality, insight driven materials for M&A Committee approvals, ensuring clear recommendations at each stage gate.
  • Lead key financial workstreams during integration, including synergy tracking, integration cost budgeting, and KPI/reporting design.
  • Monitor post acquisition performance against the approved investment case and highlight key variances.
  • Conduct rigorous financial diligence to assess performance quality, cash generation, working capital trends and accounting considerations.
  • Challenge and validate financial information to identify risks, value drivers and priority diligence areas.
  • Build, maintain and stress test transaction models that incorporate diligence findings, valuation assumptions, synergies and sensitivities.
  • Support the development and validation of investment cases, including financial forecasts, value drivers and downside scenarios.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (or equivalent technical expertise) with around five years post qualification experience.
  • At least three years of experience in financial due diligence or similar transaction related analytical work.
  • Experience in a Big4 environment, especially with an audit foundation, is helpful but not essential.
  • In house or corporate development experience is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of QoE analysis, common diligence adjustments and the financial drivers that shape value in a transaction.
  • Comfortable analysing revenue quality, margin drivers and working capital, and able to translate findings into clear insights.
  • Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills, with ability to build, adapt and challenge complex models.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive and competitive rewards package designed to support wellbeing, growth and success.
  • Opportunity to play a meaningful role in driving growth at a global leader.
  • Collaborative, inclusive culture where ideas and impact truly matter.
  • Globally connected team with opportunities to collaborate across regions and influence initiatives at scale.
