We are looking for an experienced and commercially focused Product Manager to join our Purity & Specialty (P&S) market segment team.

In this highly visible global role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the product and market strategy for our Industrial Gas portfolio while contributing to future growth opportunities across the semiconductor, industrial gas and life sciences sectors.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Act as product and market segment owner, working closely with customers, sales teams, engineering, operations and marketing colleagues to deliver profitable growth and market-leading solutions.
  • Manage the complete product lifecycle, from concept and market definition through to retirement, ensuring maximum profitability and customer value.
  • Develop and execute global product and market strategies for the Industrial Gas segment.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activity to maintain and enhance market competitiveness.
  • Lead the successful launch of new products and solutions globally.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and establish effective Voice of Customer (VOC) networks.
  • Support regional sales and service teams with product expertise, positioning and growth initiatives.
  • Prioritise and drive sustaining engineering activities to support ongoing product performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for product enhancements and new product development, providing direction into the NPD process.
  • Partner with Marketing Communications to develop sales tools, campaigns, training materials, website content and promotional collateral.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing to improve customer service performance, product availability and cost competitiveness.
  • Work with Quality, Engineering and Operations teams to ensure products consistently meet the highest industry standards.
  • Develop sales enablement tools and training programmes to support global commercial teams.
  • Support regional marketing activities including seminars, customer events, product training and promotional programmes.

About You

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven experience in a Product Manager, Product Specialist or Technical Sales role within gas analysis or a similar technical industry.
  • Strong understanding of product management principles and lifecycle management.
  • Ability to analyse markets, identify opportunities and develop successful growth strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience working within cross-functional teams and leading projects.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive and analytical approach to problem solving and decision-making.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience with gas analysers or similar industrial analytical instrumentation.
  • Experience with Gas Chromatography technologies.
  • Knowledge of Miller Heiman or other strategic sales methodologies.
  • Additional language skills.
