Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid (office and on-site) role for an Installation Manager - Heating and Electrical, based in the Greater Glasgow Area. You will be managing installations on a Public Sector Framework contract. Responsibilities include overseeing domestic retrofit heating and electrical installation projects – domestic Solar PV, ASHP, Battery and ESH. Managing on-site teams, ensuring health and safety compliance, and maintaining project timelines and budgets. The role requires collaboration with clients, contractors, and team members to deliver quality installations efficiently. Problem-solving, troubleshooting, and a commitment to high standards in project execution are key components of the role.
Qualifications
- Experience in heating, ASHP, electrical installations, and system troubleshooting
- Proficiency in project management, including planning, scheduling, and overseeing operations
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards in construction and installation
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and decision-making skills
- Relevant certifications in electrical or heating systems (e.g., NICEIC or Gas Safe qualifications) are highly desirable
- Familiarity with energy efficiency standards and sustainability practices is a plus
- Valid driver's license for site visits and related travel
