Omega Subsea is experiencing increased project activity and is seeking Senior Survey Engineers to support our growing offshore operations. This role is responsible for ensuring that survey equipment and sensors are fully operational across offshore survey and subsea projects. Working closely with offshore survey teams, ROV personnel, project teams, and clients, the Survey Engineer will act as the technical point of contact for survey equipment onboard vessels and offshore spreads. The role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational support of survey systems in dynamic offshore environments. The position is offshore-based.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical focal point for survey equipment and sensors onboard projects.
  • Ensure survey systems are operational, maintained, and functioning efficiently.
  • Support installation, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of survey equipment.
  • Monitor system performance and provide technical support during offshore operations.
  • Coordinate with offshore and onshore survey teams, project personnel, and clients.
  • Support mobilisation and demobilisation activities for survey systems and related equipment.
  • Maintain reporting and documentation related to equipment status and technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Omega Subsea HSEQ procedures and offshore safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Survey Engineer role.
  • Technical background within electronics, instrumentation, engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Experience with survey equipment, sensors, and offshore operations.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Valid offshore certifications are considered an advantage.
