We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Construction team based on site.
Location: Site based
Hours: Flexible options available - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
As a Project Manager, you'll be leading the day-to-day design and construction of projects valued up to £15m. You'll work collaboratively with your team to deliver projects safely, within budget, to programme and quality expectations, ensuring customer satisfaction every step of the way. This is an opportunity to make a real impact, working on diverse projects across key sectors including education, health, defence, and aviation.
What will you be responsible for?
- Leading the safety, health, environmental and wellbeing culture across your project
- Managing subcontractors and suppliers, building strong relationships and ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards
- Overseeing project delivery, including programme management, design coordination and quality control
- Managing project finances, revenue, costs and cashflow to maximise profitability
- Line managing project staff, conducting performance reviews and supporting their development
What are we looking for?
- You have experience leading operational projects and knowledge of contract conditions within the construction industry
- You hold or are working towards professional membership (e.g. CIOB, RICS) and have CSCS and SMSTS qualifications
- You're an excellent communicator who can influence at all levels and build strong relationships
- You have sound commercial awareness with a commitment to health, safety and risk management
- You're highly organised, proactive and driven to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
