The opportunity: We are seeking an Executive Director to join our dedicated agency team supporting one of the world's most exciting technology brands. This role sits within the entertainment and streaming arm of their business, with a primary focus on driving subscription growth through Connected TV (CTV) advertising.

You will own the client relationship end-to-end for this line of business, lead a team of four digital performance specialists, and work as a peer alongside team leads covering Planning, Digital, and Marketing Science, collectively delivering a best-in-class, always-on performance programme. This role reports directly to the Agency Partner leading on the overall business.

This is a rare opportunity to shape strategy and execution at the intersection of digital performance and the rapidly evolving CTV landscape. We are looking for a seasoned digital performance leader who brings rigour, creativity, and commercial instinct to everything they do. Direct CTV experience is a plus, but not a prerequisite and full training will be provided. What matters most is a performance mindset, a passion for results, and the ability to lead teams and clients with confidence.

The role:

  • Client Ownership: Own the primary client relationship for this line of business as the go-to strategic partner. Take full accountability for client satisfaction, measured through regular feedback and TRR scores, ensuring the highest standard of service is consistently delivered. Lead the delivery of regular in-flight performance updates, status updates, and QBRs. Translating complex data into clear, compelling narratives. Work with your team to build and present weekly performance reports and insight-led decks that tell the story of campaign progress, surfacing actionable recommendations in a digestible format. Spend approximately half a day per week at the client's offices to maintain a close, trusted, on-site presence.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead, develop, and inspire a team of four: one Director, two Managers, and one Senior Executive. Set clear goals, foster a culture of accountability and curiosity, and support career growth across all levels. Collaborate closely with peer team leads across Planning, Digital, and Marketing Science to ensure integrated, joined-up delivery across the business. Contribute actively to the wider agency team through sharing knowledge, supporting cross-team initiatives, and helping to build a positive, high-performing agency culture. Be willing to roll up your sleeves and get hands-on when it counts. This is a leader who leads from the front.
  • Digital Performance & CTV Execution: Drive best-in-class campaign setup, execution, and optimisation across digital performance channels, with a strong emphasis on CTV environments. Lead the optimisation of CTV display activity to deliver efficient subscription results across key streaming platforms and devices in a multi-market always-on campaign. Own and develop relationships with CTV and digital partners including Amazon, Google, Samsung, LG, Roku, and others – staying ahead of emerging buy types, formats, and opportunities. Lead optimisation sessions for burst campaigns across a variety of lines of business that involves search, social, and programmatic channel teams.
  • Insight, Reporting & Optimisation: Regularly analyse media, on-site, and app data to surface both campaign specific and broader business insights. Build and maintain structured optimisation plans, ensuring recommendations are implemented effectively across channels and vendors. Assess and provide feedback on in-platform optimisations across all active channels.
  • Ad Operations, Technical & Creative Co-ordination: Build trust and improve processes with internal operations and tracking teams to ensure all digital activity runs as smoothly as possible. Work closely with marketing science teams to improve the quality of data being received and analysed. Oversee the relationship between clients and other Omnicom agencies that handle additional creative production needs.

About You: Proven track record of delivering results in performance-led digital campaigns across one or more channels, with broad cross-channel knowledge. A natural leader – experienced in managing teams across multiple seniority levels, with a coaching mindset and a high bar for quality. Exceptional at turning data into story. You can build a weekly report or QBR deck that doesn't just show numbers – it tells a narrative and drives action. Strong client presence that involves being confident when presenting to senior stakeholders, able to think on your feet, and skilled at simplifying complexity into clear communication. Deep familiarity with digital media KPIs and how to move them, across both upper and lower funnel objectives. Up to date on with latest ad tech. Knowledge of CTV platforms and buy types is an advantage, but not a mandatory need. Proactive and solutions-oriented – always looking for the next improvement, insight, or opportunity. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced global agency environment. Degree educated or equivalent professional experience.

About the Agency: At OMD EMEA, we strive to deliver on our promise of ‘better decisions, faster‘ for our clients, partners and all 6,000+ OMDers across our region every day. As part of the world’s largest media network, our business is staging experiences for consumers who have more choice and less attention than ever before. The key to the process is empathy. Empathy to see the world through the eyes of the consumer, to recognise the needs of our clients and to identify aspirations of our talent. Learn Fast, Act Fast. To help navigate the road to a ‘new normal’, learning from, and acting upon data signals at scale and speed is crucial.

Our working pattern for colleagues is to be present in the office three days a week at our offices in London with the other days available to work remotely. Let us know if you have any questions about our working pattern as part of your application and interview process. Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance. Omnicom is committed to hiring and developing exceptional talent. We agree that talent is uniquely distributed, and we’re focused on developing inclusive teams that can bring the best solutions to everything we do. We strongly believe that celebrating what makes us different makes us better together. Join us—we look forward to getting to know you.
