OMD EMEA are looking for a talented and experienced Paid Search Account Director to join our team and lead campaign strategy and execution for one of the most innovative and powerful brands in the world. This strategic role covers planning and buying across Paid Search platforms such as Google, Naver and Yahoo Japan, supporting the development of both local and global strategies. You will manage a mix of branding and DR campaigns and collaborate closely with in-house creative, planning, and internal/external account teams to align Paid Search with broader media plans.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead strategy and execution of Paid Search campaigns across Google, Yahoo, and Naver platforms
- Oversee campaign setup, optimisation, audience segmentation, and reporting
- Direct keyword and audience research, ad copywriting, and A/B testing
- Ensure cross-channel integration and alignment with planning teams
- Guide the team in adopting best practices and leveraging beta opportunities from platforms
- Liaise with platform partners on innovation, measurement, and tools
- Provide thought leadership and performance insight to internal and external stakeholders
- Use bid management tools (e.g., SKAI, Marin, or similar) to optimise performance and scalability
Skills
- Extensive experience in Paid Search (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Amazon Search)
- Hands-on experience with third-party bidding tools (SKAI, Marin, or similar)
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills
- Advanced understanding of e-commerce and branding Paid Search strategies
- Proficient in Excel and performance reporting
- Ability to lead projects and teams in a fast-paced, high-performing environment
