The Managing Partner, Performance is responsible for overseeing our regional digital activation team and providing digital leadership across a patch of clients. This transformative role ensures delivery of best‑in‑class digital and performance media strategies, aligning to our clients’ business priorities and driving connected strategies across branding, performance media and e‑commerce. You will define and drive the digital transformation and innovation agenda, keeping us at the forefront of precision marketing.
Specific Areas Of Responsibilities
- Key client stakeholder management across regional client functions and local client teams; partner with senior‑level experts (Media, Creative, CRM, technology, etc.) to drive connection and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure the strategic and tactical output of the Digital Activation Hub is market‑leading, following the client’s platform‑specific Golden Rules of technical operations.
- Work with local market agency specialists to advise on how local digital plans (direct IO, influencers, local e‑com) complement and align with the regional direction.
- Act as strategic digital lead for global partnerships focused on innovation and business acceleration, identifying new opportunities to benefit the business.
- Deliver thought leadership and clear points of view in every opportunity – demonstrating strong data literacy and digital acumen.
- Direct management of client digital activation team including the Executive Directors and channel leads.
- Build a digital community and strong collaboration across the regions and local markets.
- Collaboratively define the key priorities and workstreams for clients at a regional level.
- Proven background in performance media (paid search, paid social, programmatic, direct display and e‑commerce) with depth of specialism in at least one channel.
- Experience with advanced analytics (econometric analysis, MTA results, etc.) and investment‑productivity reporting for digital.
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple departments and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
- Knowledge of the media agency ecosystem.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; able to tailor communication styles to different audiences.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with cultural agility to interact with a global network.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Activation experience, coupled with strategic expertise.
- Excellent team management and ability to influence key stakeholders, including executive team members.
- Comfortable managing client and colleague relationships; experience managing a team of specialists to ensure efficient, high‑quality output.
- Specialised knowledge in at least one digital channel and understanding of the work required to activate digital campaigns.
- Leadership in the performance team, overseeing departmental output for your clients.
- Solid grasp of the basic principles within all paid‑for digital channels (Display, Search, Social).
- Understanding of the Ad‑Tech ecosystem, focusing on creative message delivery, tracking via adserver and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Omniture.
- Experience planning digital campaigns across paid channels, audience generation/selection, and collection via adserver/pixel/DMP.
- In‑depth understanding of KPI selection, bid management platforms and optimisation within channel.
- Experience managing people and developing their careers through an in-depth learning programme.
- Familiarity with media activation best practices – campaign setup, QA, reporting, insight generation and finance.
- Knowledge of brand safety and fraud‑prevention techniques.
- Ownership of the media plan for performance channels, challenging client teams when required and driving strategic excellence.
- Ensuring team members deliver the highest quality of work.
