About the Role: As a Head of Strategy/Managing Partner within a leading media agency you will hold ultimate responsibility for driving strategic excellence across the agency’s client portfolio. As a trusted advisor to clients and a core member of the agency’s leadership team, this role steers the development of insight-led, innovative and effective communications strategies that solve complex business challenges.

Your role will blend strategic vision setting for your department - fostering a creative and high performing culture whilst shaping award winning work for current and new clients that delivers business impact. You will oversee close collaborations with internal departments and external partners to deliver integrated, future-facing solutions that develop and enhance agency offerings that align with client business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the strategic vision across the agency’s portfolio, ensuring consistency, innovation and effectiveness in strategic outputs.
  • Lead the development of integrated communications strategies that seamlessly connect media, creative, content and data with clear business objectives.
  • Act as a strategic visionary in the industry – offering a distinctive point of view on the pivotal topics for the industry now and next.
  • Act as a senior strategic advisor to clients, including C-suite stakeholders, building trust through thought leadership and business acumen.
  • Identify growth opportunities for clients, guiding them through transformation, innovation or repositioning initiatives.
  • Develop and evolve proprietary tools, methodologies or frameworks to enhance strategic offerings.
  • Identify specialist services within OMG that can help meet a client's need, as well as shaping future products and solutions to ensure we stay ahead of the curve.
  • Drive innovation in media strategy, including emerging platforms, audience technologies and non-traditional channels.
  • Build and lead a successful, diverse and motivated team, by creating a collaborative, enriching and empathetic environment.
  • Lead the strategic output on key new business opportunities.
  • Take a leading role in shaping award-winning narratives and case studies to showcase great agency work across the industry.
