OMD’s Decisions Science team plays a vital role in ensuring that our clients realise the full potential of their marketing, their brand, and their audiences. This role will suit a candidate who is passionate about data and analytics, focused on digging into questions about brands, people, and where the two interact.

The successful candidate will have a proven record of combining a creative approach to analytical problem-solving with delivering client-friendly solutions, in an articulate and insightful style. You will have diverse analytics experience and familiarity with leading small project teams. Using your knowledge and creativity you will deliver clear, consultative analysis in a way that positively influences clients’ marketing, audience, and strategy outputs.

Consultants are subject matter experts and the driving force of the team, distilling client questions into analytical briefs, overseeing projects from start to finish, and creating implementational outputs that improve our client’s marketing plans.

  • Clients & Commercials: Solutions focussed, analytical and organised, you will have experience in delivering analytical projects to clients. You will take responsibility managing projects and delivering consultative recommendations to clients, working closely with more senior members of the team to manage ongoing client relationships. You will be seen as an expert in your field by clients and Client Leadership teams at OMD - building skills and with a strong focus on managing the needs of internal and external stakeholders. You will support on the identification of new commercial and client growth opportunities.
  • Talent & Culture: Consultants will project manage Senior Analysts with oversight of other Analysts within the team. We expect you to be a role model for other members of the team, setting clear direction and expectations to ensure smooth delivery and high-quality outputs. You will take on day-to-day coaching and development of the team working on your projects, line management responsibility and the professional and technical development of team members. You will be a vocal advocate for a creative approach to analytics in a team with a broad focus.
  • Future Growth & Product: The work of our team evolves to suit the needs of OMD’s clients. You will be enthusiastic about creating client-focused solutions, excited to develop new solutions and analytical approaches - continually working closely with other specialist services, agency teams, and the wider analytics and research teams.
  • Technical Capabilities: Consultants combine technical knowledge with client-facing commercial skills. With a broad technical understanding of the analysis that comprise our projects, you will be a strong presenter with the ability to deliver results to marketers and analytical teams alike. You will be able to show clients that you have a full understanding of analytical techniques and can explain them clearly. The role requires exceptional attention to detail. With strong experience in data and measurement you will ensure all work is technically excellent and that all outputs are consistent, accurate and address all client business questions.
