After a successful year growing our current client scopes for 2026, we are now looking to expand our Organic Performance Department with the hiring of an Organic Performance Senior Executive. As a full-service media agency, search sits at OMD UK’s heart within the Connected Performance Department (our combined wider digital and planning department) a team of over 160 experts, so this is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to work across a varied client mix and get involved across multiple channel touchpoints working with counterparts across the agency.

Reporting directly to OMD’s Organic Performance Account Manager, you will be an inquisitive and proactive SEO practitioner as well as expanding your remit into GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation – GenAI/LLMs). You will support the Account Manager with the main day‑to‑day contact and be responsible for delivering SEO/GEO strategies for your clients. Working with your Account Manager, you will support in the delivery of client strategies and approaches to drive performance and efficiencies. You will be primarily working with one of the biggest banks in the UK, across a number of business units. The role is perfect for a self‑starter SEO all‑rounder who has hands‑on experience and is now ready to take the next step into a more senior role.

The Organic Performance Department is comprised of over 25 members ranging across a breadth of different skill sets all within SEO, owned and earned. We are a tight‑knit bunch who are all about knowledge‑sharing and upskilling each other. We have monthly pulse sessions where we share industry news and knowledge with the forum and get a good chance to nerd out over all things SEO and digital. Alongside the Pulse sessions, we have a wider ‘nerd out’ where we join a forum monthly with all members of Omnicom that are involved in SEO, owned and earned which is comprised of 50+ enthusiasts across PHD, MG OMD and ourselves (OMD UK) where we widen the net to share again great work, team news and anything that is going to get us all excited.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality organic performance activity across the three core pillars of SEO – Technical SEO, On site / Content Optimisation, and Off site.
  • Support the evolution of SEO programmes into GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation), contributing to optimisation for AI driven and multi‑platform search environments.
  • Own the execution and quality of assigned workstreams, ensuring outputs are accurate, insight‑led and delivered on time.
  • Communicate progress, outputs and key findings from owned workstreams to internal teams and clients, with support from the Account Manager.
  • Take strategic briefings and translate them into clear, actionable delivery plans.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Produce and contribute to monthly reporting, including technical health, visibility and performance analysis.
  • Interrogate data to surface insights, risks and opportunities, escalating key findings to the Account Manager.
  • Ensure reporting clearly articulates what has happened, why, and what actions should follow.

Collaboration & Ways of Working

  • Work with internal teams including Content, Digital PR, PPC and Performance Integration to support integrated search delivery.
  • Participate actively in internal reviews, QA processes and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of ways of working, tools and documentation within the Organic Performance team.

Development & Craft Progression

  • Demonstrate quality delivery and best practice in assigned workstreams, contributing to team standards.
  • Demonstrate curiosity and proactive learning, staying up to date with SEO, GEO and wider digital developments.
  • Engage with training initiatives and internal learning forums to continue developing both technical and soft skills.

About You

  • Hands‑on experience delivering SEO activity across technical, content and off‑site SEO.
  • Experience working within a fast‑paced agency environment, ideally with large or enterprise‑level clients.
  • Confidence working with data and analytics to inform decisions and recommendations.
  • Solid understanding of SEO tooling such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs / SEMrush, Lumar.
