About the Role

After a successful year growing our current client scopes for 2026, we are expanding our Organic Performance Department with the hiring of an Organic Performance Associate Director. This full‑service media agency role sits at the heart of OMD UK’s Connected Performance Department, working across a varied client mix and across multiple channel touchpoints with counterparts across the agency.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting directly to OMD’s Organic Performance Business Director, you will serve as the main day‑to‑day point for delivering SEO/GEO strategies for clients while being their trusted partner.
  • You will support the Business Director in devising client strategies, seek new opportunities to drive performance and efficiencies, and work primarily with one of the biggest automotive brands globally and a leading UK travel brand.

Qualifications

  • A generalist with solid experience across all three areas of SEO (Technical, Content, and Digital PR).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose complex Technical SEO issues.
  • Ability to identify business growth opportunities using data.
  • Pro‑active, can‑do attitude, passion for learning and development.
  • Adaptive communication style, able to explain technical ideas simply to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Perform under pressure and self‑motivated.
  • Willingness and ability to work with people at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills, manage multiple projects autonomously.
  • Culturally sensitive client interaction with varying interests.
  • Solutions focused and forward‑thinking.

Proficiency in:

  • Web Experience: Technical SEO, CMS Capability Enhancement, Page Speed Improvement, Website Migration, Accessibility, UX and Personalisation.
  • CMS: AEM, Magento, Umbraco, WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, and other headless/custom CMS.
  • Mobile: App Store Optimisation (ASO), Website‑to‑Mobile App Deep Linking, Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP), Progressive Web Apps (PWA).
  • Content: Content Management, YouTube and Video Optimisation, Schema Mark‑up.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics.
  • Project Management: Agile Methodologies, JIRA, GitHub, Hive, Trello.
  • Microsoft Office 365: Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Hive.
  • Other Tools: ScreamingFrog, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, STAT, Pi Datametrics, BrightEdge, Google Tag Manager.
  • Conversion Rate Optimisation: A/B Testing and Landing Page Optimisation.

Flexible Working

  • Hybrid model: three days in the office, two days remote.
  • Standard hours 9:30 – 17:30 with core flexibility 10:30 – 16:30.
  • Options to start earlier or finish later to suit individual rhythms.
