OMB Holdings is a privately held investment and holding company overseeing a portfolio of businesses across several sectors, including consumer brands, property technology, distribution, financial trading and automotive. We are a small, fast-moving team and we are looking for an organised, discreet and dependable Administrative & HR Assistant to support the group's leadership and day-to-day operations.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being the organisational backbone of a business — keeping things running, staying on top of detail, and supporting the team across several companies at once.

THE ROLE

You will provide administrative and HR support across the group and its businesses, working directly with senior leadership. No two days are the same, and the role spans a genuine mix of responsibilities.

Administrative

  • Managing diaries, scheduling meetings and coordinating travel for the leadership team
  • Organising and maintaining company records, files and documents
  • Preparing documents, correspondence and basic reports
  • Acting as a point of contact for internal and external queries
  • Supporting the smooth running of the office and day-to-day operations
  • Processing expenses, invoices and general administrative tasks

HR support

  • Helping to coordinate recruitment — arranging interviews, managing candidate communication and preparing onboarding paperwork
  • Maintaining employee records accurately and confidentially
  • Supporting onboarding for new starters
  • Keeping HR documentation and administrative processes organised and up to date
  • Assisting leadership with day-to-day people and HR matters

Because we are a group of businesses, you will work across several companies, so the ability to juggle priorities and switch context is important.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Previous experience in an administrative, office support or HR assistant role
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable working across multiple tasks and priorities at once
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to take ownership

Useful but not essential:

  • Experience in a start-up, SME or multi-company environment
  • Exposure to HR administration or an interest in developing in HR
