Help Apple secure the world’s most advanced consumer devices, which people trust to store their personal and professional data. Security Engineering collaborates with hardware and software teams. Perform research and analysis to identify vulnerabilities and trends across platforms. Reverse engineer exploits and create insightful analyses and innovative tooling. Travel to other Apple sites, vendors, and security conferences as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Background in secure coding and code auditing.
  • Experience developing proof of concept exploits for common vulnerabilities.
  • Programming background in C, C++, and Python.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of modern anti-exploitation mitigations and their effectiveness.
  • Reverse engineering using tools such as IDA Pro or Ghidra.
  • Knowledge of macOS and iOS security architectures.
  • Knowledge of memory safe languages.
  • Proficiency with assembly languages, ARM64 is a big plus.
