Apple Music is home to some of the most ambitious original content in the world, and this role sits at the centre of it. The Studio Content Manager guides the editorial execution of what is made in the UK studio, ensuring the output is consistent, performant, and aligned with the central Apple Music Studio goals.

We have a new opportunity for a Studio Content Manager, UK to deliver the editorial & content programming plan for the Apple Music Studio in London. The role will focus on artist‑led original video productions and social‑based short‑form content that often includes Apple Music talent. You will be responsible for ensuring that content is produced to engage and inspire Apple Music listeners around the world. The role includes close collaboration with stakeholders across Editorial, Design, Production, Artist Relations and our International teams. To be effective, the Studio Content Manager will rely on a strong working knowledge of how extraordinary original content can excel through curated, personalised and AI‑driven discovery and engagement systems.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and maintain Apple Music’s Global Editorial Priorities for the UK Studio, working together with content teams including Music Programming, Radio, Original Content and Social.
  • Help optimise how UK Studio content is planned, produced and delivered, working closely with Production and Project Management leads.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with other Music teams including Marketing, Design, Production, Artist Relations, and Music Business Partnerships.
  • Partner with the UK Music editorial and marketing leads to identify and drive local original content and community opportunities for the Studio.
  • Consider how original Studio content will be featured both on‑ and off‑platform, with a keen eye on how original content should reach the right audiences.
  • Report on the activity & performance of the Studio working cross‑functionally with Marketing, Artist Relations, and Music Business Partnerships.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Extensive demonstrable experience in editorial strategy, original audio/video content production, and/or radio programming.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the strategic execution of an original content slate across a large‑scale digital media or streaming platform.
  • Deep experience collaborating with artist‑facing teams including Editorial, Production, Marketing and Artist Relations.
  • Strong understanding of the value of original video content, including knowledge of how curation, personalisation, and algorithmic systems play a key role.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and lead cross‑functional projects from concept to delivery.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with international peers collaboratively across timezones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A passion for and understanding of Apple’s brand, products and services – notably Apple Music.
  • A degree in Liberal Arts, Music Business, Media Studies or related field is beneficial.
  • The ability to work collaboratively under pressure, with proven experience working on complex, international, large‑scale, time‑critical projects.
