Who We Are: At Omaze, we give our community in the UK and Germany the chance to win luxury homes and other life-changing prizes — all while raising money for the causes they love. Thanks to our Omaze Community, we’ve raised over £150 million for UK charities in just five years. That’s millions helping organisations like Age UK, the RSPCA, British Heart Foundation and Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity deliver life-saving work. And the best part? We’re only just getting started. Omaze is building a business and culture committed to growth and creating significant social impact on a global scale.
About The Job: Having launched the Million Pound House Draw in 2020, one of the UK’s fastest ever growing products that to date has raised over £150M for charity, Omaze is preparing to build and launch our next big thing. Designed to take our playbook of dream property prizes to new audiences we are seeking a talented and hungry marketeer to help us make it all happen. Alongside the General Manager you will shape the new proposition and the strategy to bring it to a new audience — defining that audience, positioning the brand and running the creative platform, launching the proposition, and creating a sustainable engine for both brand and commercial growth.
This is a rare opportunity to take something from zero to one and then build the operating rhythm that allows it to grow. You'll start by developing a deep understanding of the customer, defining our positioning and go-to-market strategy, and leading the launch. From there, you'll own the marketing approach for a regular cadence of new campaigns, using customer insight, brand signals and performance data to improve the proposition each time.
You won't have a large dedicated marketing team around you. Instead, you'll need to roll your sleeves up and get it all done, with support from specialists inside and outside of Omaze — including Creative, Performance Marketing, CRM, Brand, PR, Analytics and Product — bringing it all together, delivering a clear strategy and executing brilliantly. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong consumer marketing instincts, brand and creative judgement, commercial thinking and hands-on execution.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Build the go-to-market strategy
- Develop the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for a new Omaze proposition, from initial customer understanding through launch and scale.
- Define our priority audiences, their motivations and barriers, and the occasions that will drive participation.
- Define what this new product should stand for in customers' minds, how it should differentiate itself and how it should relate to the wider Omaze brand and product set.
- Develop the brand positioning, messaging architecture and creative platform that can build recognition, relevance and desire over time.
- Determine how the new proposition should relate to the broader Omaze brand and existing product portfolio - including driving incrementality.
- Partner with Product, Commercial, Analytics and Research teams to shape decisions around the customer experience, offer and proposition.
- Build a clear acquisition and retention strategy, identifying the channels, messages and customer journeys most likely to drive sustainable growth.
- Translate strategy into measurable objectives, combining brand and commercial KPIs.
- Lead every campaign
- Own the marketing strategy and integrated campaign plan for each new property prize launch.
- Turn each new campaign into a compelling customer story with a clear audience, insight, proposition and creative brief.
- Ensure every individual property campaign strengthens the brand as well as delivering its immediate commercial objectives.
- Set a high creative bar and work closely with Creative teams to develop work that is distinctive, emotionally compelling and capable of building the brand over time.
- Lead the cross-functional marketing squad responsible for bringing campaigns to market.
- Partner with Creative, Performance Marketing, CRM, PR, Social and other teams to deliver against the strategy.
- Ensure every customer touchpoint works together as one coherent campaign, from first impression through conversion and repeat participation.
- Make clear prioritisation and investment recommendations based on expected commercial impact.
- Build the playbook
- Establish the processes, templates, measurement framework and operating cadence required to run campaigns repeatedly and efficiently.
- Track and develop our understanding of brand health alongside commercial performance, using measures such as awareness, consideration and customer perceptions where appropriate.
- Design and prioritise tests across audiences, propositions, messaging, creative, channels and customer journeys.
- Know when to experiment and optimise, and when consistency and creative conviction are more important than reacting to short-term campaign data.
- Build a strong understanding of what drives performance by customer segment and campaign type.
- Turn learnings from each campaign into improvements for the next, creating a compounding growth loop rather than starting from scratch each time.
- Bring customer insight and market intelligence back into the wider business to help shape the future product roadmap.
About You: We're less interested in a particular industry background than in finding someone who has the right attitude and has shown success at building consumer brands and growing new consumer propositions. You'll probably have:
- Significant experience in consumer marketing, brand, growth or integrated marketing roles.
- Experience taking a new proposition, product or category from early-stage concept through launch and growth.
- Strong customer and commercial instincts: you can move comfortably between qualitative customer insight, proposition development and quantitative performance data.
- A strong understanding of how brand building and customer acquisition work together to create sustainable growth.
- Experience developing positioning, messaging, customer segmentation and integrated brand and marketing strategies.
- Strong experimentation instincts and experience using data to improve marketing performance over time, without becoming overly dependent on short-term performance signals.
- The ability to lead complex cross-functional work without needing direct reporting lines.
- Excellent briefing and communication skills, particularly with creative and channel specialists.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and building processes where none yet exist.
- The judgement to know when something needs deep analysis and when it simply needs to get done.
What’s In It For You:
- Generous stock options scheme
- 25 days annual leave PLUS Bank Holidays
- Private medical and dental insurance
- 9% employer pension contributions, when you contribute at least 2%
- A generous personal learning and development budget each year to use on training courses, conferences and professional memberships
- Enhanced family leave policies
- Life assurance of 4x your salary
