Imagine a role where you could use your knowledge and skills to have a broader impact than anywhere else, and where you could make your own dent in the universe. Apple's Sales Engineering teams build the systems that enable any potential customer to have the greatest store experience, wherever they are in the world, and ensure that anyone selling Apple devices can do their best work supporting clients. If you're interested in understanding how things operate at scale - across hundreds of thousands of points of sale - and how the Apple experience is delivered globally, this role might be for you.
As an Early Careers Full Stack Engineer in Sales Engineering, you will contribute to applications and services used by our channel partners, in Apple Stores, and by internal teams across the business. Our main products include DCOTA (Digital Content Over The Air), which manages over 1.4 million devices in our partners' stores, and StoreFront, the go-to app for partner staff to manage their stores - covering marketing campaigns, fulfillment, ticketing, and support.
You will work across the stack - building backend services, contributing to frontend experiences, and gaining hands‑on exposure to cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, you will take ownership of well‑scoped features from implementation through to deployment, within a team where your contributions matter from day one.
We value engineers who think critically about how AI can improve both the products they build and the way they build them - someone who naturally reaches for new tools, stays curious about emerging technologies, and considers how intelligence and automation can make systems better.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain services and user‑facing features across the full stack
- Write automated tests and participate in code reviews
- Investigate and resolve issues with support from senior team members
- Collaborate with engineers across multiple teams at Apple in a global, cross‑functional environment
- Apply AI tools and techniques thoughtfully in your development workflow
Minimum Qualifications
- Working knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g. Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Swift)
- Experience building or consuming APIs, and an understanding of how frontend and backend components interact
- Understanding of relational databases and basic data modelling
- Curiosity about how AI tools and technologies can improve engineering work
Preferred Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience; non‑traditional backgrounds are valued
- Experience building full‑stack applications (backend services + frontend UI)
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS or similar) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with AI‑assisted development tools or personal projects exploring ML/LLM capabilities
