The Sales BPR team in EMEIA is looking for a curious, collaborative, and commercially minded Data Scientist to join their team. This role goes beyond traditional reporting, analytics and data science — you will help drive AI adoption across the Sales organisation by supporting the development of intelligent, agentic, and machine learning-powered applications that improve how teams operate and make decisions. You will work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to research, test, and deploy modern AI solutions for real-world sales use cases. You will also play an important role in helping non-technical stakeholders understand and confidently engage with AI technologies. Responsibilities
- Analyse sales and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
- Work with BPR project managers to prototype and deploy analytics and automation solutions.
- Provide support in researching, testing & applying the latest agentic frameworks to build truly agentic applications for sales use cases.
- Provide training, testing and deployment of machine learning models to be integrated into AI enabled applications and automation workflows.
- Experiment & evaluate the latest AI technologies including LLMs and agent-based systems.
- Act as a subject matter enthusiast on AI and machine learning topics within the sales organisation.
- Share knowledge to help up-skill non-technical team members on fundamentals of AI and machine learning using practical examples.
- Maintain a collaborative and supportive mindset to support sales colleagues on their AI learning journey.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and translate them into data & AI driven solutions.
- Contribute to data quality, documentation and process improvement initiatives.
- Partner closely with our AI/ML lead and Data Platform Architect to collaborate on solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience in data science, analytics, machine learning or AI related projects.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, AI Coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex.
- Deep understanding of machine learning fundamentals.
- Deep understanding of how LLMs and agentic systems work and build agentic AI apps.
- Strong curiosity with AI and an ongoing passion for learning.
- Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders/teams.
- Genuine interest in supporting and educating others.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast paced, cross functional environment.
- Exposure to modern AI frameworks or orchestration tools (LangGraph etc).
- Deep experience with LLM APIs and prompt engineering.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Good understanding of APIs, vector databases or RAG architectures.
- Experience working with commercial, operational & sales data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
