You will take ownership of your work, grow your skills, follow through on sprint commitments, and continuously deliver value for your stakeholders. You will collaborate effectively with engineers and stakeholders, while actively seeking input and guidance from team members. You will experiment with new user experiences, iterate based on learnings, and adopt appropriate tools. You will translate ideas into clear code, written to be read as well as executed. You will develop systems and data models that learn and adapt to user preferences.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is welcomed, but we equally value professional software engineering experience, including that gained through career changes, coding bootcamps, and real-world team environments.
- 2+ years of experience building scalable, rapidly iterated systems using Java and/or Kotlin.
- Exploring and applying new technologies, including AI, to improve the efficiency and quality of the SDLC.
- A fundamental understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Passionate about learning and experimenting, with an interest in full-stack development.
- Driven by a genuine care for customer experience and business outcomes.
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive. Demonstratable accountability for the work you commit to, and delivering it on time without jeopardizing the overall quality of the software.
- Familiarity working in an Agile environment.
