We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Creative Food & Events Manager to join our team at a busy contract catering site in Liverpool Street. This is a hands-on creative role for someone who loves bringing food, design and experiences together from trend-led pop-ups to visually impactful themed installations.

Location: Liverpool Street

Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

Salary: £46,000 per annum

  • Confident communicator, able to build relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams
  • Experience delivering creative food or event concepts (desirable)
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
  • A proactive, hands-on creative thinker who can bring ideas to life
  • Adaptable and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
  • Experience in food and beverage is preferred, but not essential if you live and breathe food culture

Overview

Vacherin is a boutique London-based contract caterer delivering innovative food experiences across high-profile clients in sectors including finance, law and media. This role is based on site and leads the development of a creative, ever-evolving food and events programme that drives engagement and enhances the workplace experience.

Main Duties

  • Events Calendar & Activations: Lead the planning and delivery of the internal events calendar, creating engaging themed food activations. Work closely with chefs and suppliers to bring ideas to life with creativity and impact.
  • Creative Décor & Installation: Design and deliver décor and visual installations for themed activations, pop-ups and seasonal takeovers. Source props and materials to transform spaces, and create visually engaging setups including themed displays and food styling moments.
  • Pop-Up Supplier Sourcing: Identify and secure exciting external vendors through research, social media and market visits. Manage relationships, negotiate terms and coordinate logistics for on-site pop-ups.
  • Events Delivery: Support and deliver internal and external events, playing a key role in the planning and execution of Vacherin-led activations and functions.
  • Performance & Standards: Monitor the success of initiatives through reporting and analysis, ensuring all events and activations meet Vacherin’s high standards of quality, creativity and presentation.
  • Trend Research & Innovation: Regularly explore the high street and attend industry events to identify new food trends, suppliers and ideas. Share insights and collaborate with chefs to evolve the food offer.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Maintain clear and professional communication with both client and internal teams. Work closely with the General Manager to review performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • General Support: Contribute to wider business initiatives and support ongoing service development.
  • Team Management: Work closely with and support the Events Runner, delegating tasks and coordinating workloads to ensure smooth delivery of events and activations.
