About The Job
The Scriptwriter will be responsible for crafting engaging, humour-driven scripts for short-form content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other emerging platforms. This role will develop highly shareable and culturally relevant content that aligns with brand objectives while entertaining and engaging audiences.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop punchy, comedic scripts for short-form video content, ensuring alignment with brand voice and platform trends.
- Create attention-grabbing hooks, engaging dialogue, and viral-friendly narratives tailored to TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube audiences.
- Collaborate with Brand, Social Media, Creative and Production teams to execute content that maximises engagement.
- Write character-driven, skit-style scripts, parodies, and reactive content that resonate with digital audiences.
- Monitor and adapt to trending memes, pop culture moments, and digital humour styles to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Work closely with on-screen talent, charity partners (if applicable), and Creative teams to refine scripts for different personalities and performance styles.
- Adjust and optimise scripts based on platform performance data, audience insights, and engagement metrics.
- Experiment with new storytelling formats, adapting to evolving social media algorithms and audience behaviours.
