Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our growing analytics team to help answer questions about our app, next prize draws, and the perfect Omaze house, ultimately helping Omaze grow into one of the world’s biggest charity donors.
At Omaze, analysts are key contributors to strategic thinking. Their deep dives and discovery work inform which opportunities and initiatives should be prioritized, and their impact is measured in the movement of key business metrics.
What you’ll do:
- Be the right-hand-person of the VP of Product & Tech, ensuring that they have an intuitive understanding of product performance, and that the decisions the team makes are data-driven.
- Dig into unstructured data to find insights about our customer base, developing our understanding of customer behavior and their needs.
- Use these insights to size and scope AB / multivariate tests and experiments throughout our user base.
- Analyze the outcomes of these tests to iterate, and input into our product strategy.
- Work alongside data/analytics engineering to ensure that underlying data is modeled appropriately, and build out reporting to show the impact of product work and initiatives.
Our ideal candidate has:
- 4+ years of product analytics experience at a high growth company.
- Demonstrable experience of impacting a product roadmap through the production of actionable insights, and an ability to present work effectively to non-data colleagues.
- An ability to break down a high-level problem into constituent parts, and a curiosity to dig deep into problems that others might be ignoring.
- Fluency in SQL, and the ability to query and transform large volumes of data (we use Snowflake).
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Looker, and the ability to create highly accessible, digestible visualizations and dashboards.
- Working knowledge of ELT/data modeling tools such as dbt is a bonus.
What to Expect:
Competitive salary and benefits package including (amongst other perks) attractive equity package, comprehensive private health insurance, and generous employer pension contributions.
We actively seek out diversity of thought and experience to drive innovation. We welcome differences of background, identity, and perspective and work hard to ensure that all people can bring their authentic self to work at all times.
