Who We Are

At Omaze, we give our community in the UK and Germany the chance to win luxury homes and other life‑changing prizes — all while raising money for the causes they love.

Thanks to our Omaze Community, we’ve raised over £100 million for UK charities in just five years.

That’s millions helping organisations like Age UK, the RSPCA, British Heart Foundation and Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity deliver life‑saving work.

And the best part? We’re only just getting started. Omaze is building a business and culture committed to growth and creating significant social impact on a global scale.

About The Job

The People team at Omaze is evolving, and we’re looking for someone who gets excited about building the systems, processes and automations that help a business scale.

You’ll own the operational heartbeat of the People function, from employee lifecycle processes and HR systems to the annual people cycles that keep the business moving.

You’ll be the day‑to‑day owner of our HRIS during an exciting period of platform evolution, while continuously identifying smarter ways of working across the team.

We’re looking for someone who thinks like a systems builder.

When you spot a repetitive task, your instinct isn’t to accept it, it’s to automate it.

You enjoy improving workflows, removing friction and using technology to make work better for everyone.

AI is already changing how great operations teams work, and we expect it to be part of your toolkit.

Whether you’re drafting documentation, building workflows or improving processes, you’ll use technology to help us move faster and operate more effectively.

If you’re passionate about creating scalable operations rather than simply maintaining them, we’d love to hear from you.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Build operational excellence
  • Own the day‑to‑day operation of the People function, ensuring our processes are accurate, efficient and consistently deliver a great employee experience.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, continually improving how these experiences are delivered.
  • Create, document and evolve People procedures so they’re simple, scalable and easy for managers and employees to use.
  • Coordinate and support our annual performance review and pay review cycles.
  • Own and improve our People systems
  • Be the day‑to‑day owner of our HRIS, maintaining workflows, permissions, automations and data integrity.
  • Play a key role in our HRIS migration and future development, helping shape how we use technology to support our growing business.
  • Continuously review existing processes and identify opportunities to automate manual work across the People team.
  • Use technology to work smarter
  • Build and improve automated workflows, notifications and approvals that remove administrative burden.
  • Use AI tools to create first drafts of policies, communications, documentation and operational resources, improving speed and consistency.
  • Experiment with new technologies and recommend ways they can improve the employee experience and team effectiveness.

About You

You’re someone who enjoys making organisations work better.

You probably find yourself questioning why something is manual, looking for opportunities to simplify it, and getting genuine satisfaction from creating elegant operational solutions.

You'll bring

  • Significant experience in a People Operations or People Systems role within a fast‑moving organisation.
  • Confidence building workflows, automations, permissions and system configurations in a modern HRIS.
  • Excellent Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and data analysis.
  • A strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes and how technology can improve them.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a passion for operational excellence.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to create clear, practical documentation.
  • Confidence using AI tools such as Chat GPT, Claude or Gemini as part of your everyday work.

You’ll really stand out if...

  • You’ve supported an HRIS implementation or migration.
  • You’ve built automations that have significantly reduced manual administration.
  • You’ve used Notion or similar tools to build operational knowledge bases.
  • What’s In It For You
  • Generous stock options scheme
  • 25 days annual leave PLUS Bank Holidays
  • Private medical and dental insurance
  • 9% employer pension contributions, when you contribute at least 2%
  • A generous personal learning and development budget each year to use on training courses, conferences and professional memberships
  • Personal equipment budget to work from home
  • Enhanced family leave policies
  • Life assurance of 4x your salary
  • DEI Statement
