We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Furniture Processor to join our team at our Head Office and main manufacturing facility in Brandon, Suffolk. This is an office-based role working closely with the Feeder Manager and Supervisor to support the efficient processing of kitchen and bedroom furniture requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Producing accurate cutting lists from floorplans for kitchen and bedroom furniture.
  • Optimising those lists using Magi-Cut software.
  • Issuing instructions to the beam saw for production.

This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and a flexible approach to bespoke items.

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7:45 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Pay Rate: Subject to experience £14.35 – £16.20

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce accurate cutting lists for kitchen and bedroom furniture from floorplans and technical drawings.
  • Optimise cutting schedules using Magi-Cut software to support efficient production.
  • Issue cutting information to the beam saw accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the Feeder Manager and Supervisor to ensure production requirements are met.
  • Support the processing of bespoke items with a practical and flexible approach.

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in furniture production would be advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and produce accurate cutting sheets.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A flexible and practical approach to bespoke items and changing production requirements.
  • Previous experience with optimisation software would be beneficial.
