We are seeking a proactive and vigilant Enhanced DBS Security Officer to uphold the safety and security of our premises based in Woking.
Duties:
- Carry out a full Lock Up of the premises ensuring all buildings are locked and alarmed.
- Carry out a full unlock of the premises ensuring it is ready for business.
- Perform regular external patrols of the premises to ensure physical security measures are maintained and hazards are addressed.
- Manage access control procedures, verifying staff, visitors and contractors.
- Respond promptly to security alarms or incidents, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and surveillance footage in accordance with company policies.
Experience:
- Proven experience in security operations, preferably within an educational environment.
- Excellent observational skills with an eye for detail in surveillance footage and physical surroundings.
- Effective communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally.
- Valid Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check clearance or willingness to obtain one.
