Requirements
Key Responsibilities- Lead day‑to‑day financial operations across multiple business units
- Manage and develop a high‑performing finance team
- Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end reporting cycles
- Drive improvements in financial controls, processes, and reporting quality
- Support integration of newly acquired entities into group finance
- Partner with operational leaders to provide insight, analysis, and decision support
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow management
- Support system enhancements, automation, and ERP optimisation
- Contribute to PE value‑creation initiatives and strategic projects
- 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance
- Proven experience managing teams and leading financial operations
- Strong grounding in accounting standards, financial reporting, and controls
- Demonstrated ability to operate in fast‑paced, evolving environments
- Experience in PE‑backed, multi‑entity, or acquisitive businesses is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP / IFRS and financial reporting best practice
- Advanced Excel capability (modelling, analysis, automation)
- Strong financial systems expertise
- Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, or similar
- Ability to streamline processes and leverage technology for efficiency.
