This is a remote position. We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Manager to partner with commercial teams and drive volume and profitability within a business that has sites across the UK and Ireland. This role will own governance on pricing and discounts, ensuring robust controls and insightful analysis that enable policy adherence and deliver sustainable growth. You will work closely with sales teams to ensure schemes are accurately set up, accrued, paid, and closed. This position requires a proactive, detail‑oriented professional who thrives on building strong stakeholder relationships and adding value through data‑driven decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Pricing Strategy & Optimisation
- Develop and execute pricing strategies to maximise volume and profitability across key brands.
- Partner with commercial teams to deliver annual price reviews and address loss‑making prices.
- Implement pricing guardrails to support profitable brand growth.
- Train and coach sales teams on pricing processes and approvals.
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Manage and develop a Commercial Finance Analyst.
- Provide commercial support to senior finance leadership.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Deliver accurate and timely internal and external reporting.
- Prepare month‑end reporting, variance analysis, and audit requirements for discounts.
- Maintain strong financial controls, including balance sheet reconciliations and compliance with IFRS.
