A privately owned and rapidly growing manufacturing and logistics group is seeking an experienced, hands‑on Finance Manager to lead the finance function across multiple entities. You will take full ownership of day‑to‑day finance operations, reporting, controls, and process improvement across a small but expanding group of companies. Managing a small finance team, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, strengthen internal controls.<\/span>

  • Support and oversee cost accounting including COGS, overheads, labour costs, and variances<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Analyse scrap rates, operational efficiency, stock movements, and cost‑saving opportunities<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Support stock takes and reconcile results to financial records<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Partner with production and warehouse teams to maintain accurate operational data<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    • Oversee balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, and financial controls<\/span>

    • Manage payroll, pensions, and statutory submissions<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team<\/span>

        • Produce insight on utilisation, pallet movements, customer margins, and operational efficiency.<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
        • Support logistics KPIs, cost control, and commercial decision‑making<\/span>
