This is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of commercial performance, supplier strategy, and operational excellence.
The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of the full cost‑estimation and procurement cycle, ensuring the business delivers accurate quotations, competitive material costs, and resilient supply chains. Leading a capable team, you’ll shape pricing strategy, strengthen supplier partnerships, and provide the data‑driven insights that guide senior decision‑making. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the estimating function, producing detailed and accurate estimates.
- Build and maintain pricing models aligned with market benchmarks and commercial strategy.
- Oversee procurement of raw materials, outsourced services, and production supplies.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure best value across cost, quality, and service.
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and material availability across the UK and Europe.
- Deliver weekly and monthly reporting on production costs, estimate accuracy, material consumption, and procurement KPIs.

- Coach, support, and develop team members—setting objectives, reviewing performance, and identifying training needs.

Requirements
- Strong background in procurement, estimating, or commercial operations within manufacturing.
