We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Computing teacher to join our experienced and successful Computing team at Winterbourne Academy from 1 September 2026. Computer Science is a popular and thriving subject across all key stages, and you will be joining a department with a strong track record of delivering excellent outcomes at both GCSE and A level.

We are looking for a skilled practitioner who can deliver engaging, challenging and effective lessons that inspire students and promote a genuine love of Computing. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of computer science principles and the ability to create stimulating and varied learning experiences that motivate students to achieve their fullest potential. You will play an important role in helping students develop their own ideas, reflect on their thinking and appreciate the diverse perspectives of others.

We are seeking someone who is passionate about their subject, committed to high standards and eager to contribute to the continued success of the department. A collaborative approach, a willingness to share good practice and a desire to continually develop as a teacher are all essential qualities for this role.
