This post is part of a job-share. This means that the role is shared with another employee, called a job-share partner. The successful candidate will be required to work 2 days per week and the job-share partner will work 3 days per week to ensure that the 5 school days are covered.
The post-holder will act as the first aid contact at the academy, overseeing the care of students who are unwell or are injured, decide on the appropriate course of action and implement that action within the competencies of the first aid certificate held. They will also be required to maintain records and reports, including those for statutory purposes. There may also be the need from time to time to provide cover on the main reception desk.
The successful candidate will hold a first aid qualification or be willing to undertake this.
