About the Role

The Senior Director, Transformation Delivery, Global plays a critical leadership role in driving enterprise-wide strategic transformations across Olympus while developing a strong pipeline of future leaders within the organization. Reporting to the SVP, Global Strategy Execution & Transformation, this role is responsible for ensuring successful delivery of the company’s highest-priority initiatives through centralized oversight, operational discipline, and transformation management expertise. The role also provides structure for resource deployment, performance management, and knowledge sharing across functions and regions. The position leads a global team of experienced professionals and coordinates with all regional Strategic Management Offices (SMOs) across locations. It also works closely with the Performance Office, which supports the ongoing improvement of organizational performance and productivity.

As a key execution partner for the transformation and strategy agenda, this role translates strategic priorities into measurable outcomes by leading the planning, mobilization, and delivery of cross-functional and cross-regional programs. It ensures adherence to agreed governance, methodology, and design principles while enabling adaptation to regional needs. The role collaborates closely with Executive Officers, Divisional and Functional leadership, Regional Presidents, and Change Management and Communications teams across the enterprise. It also oversees external consulting partnerships, with a focus on performance, accountability, and value delivery. By supporting strong execution and stakeholder alignment, this position helps maintain momentum and impact across the global transformation portfolio.

Working with regional SMOs, the role supports collaboration between local teams and Regional Presidents. It guides the Heads of Strategic Management Offices (HSMOs) in their roles as facilitators, integrators, and advisors, helping ensure successful adoption of global initiatives and alignment of regional structures with global divisional and functional expectations. The role also supports HSMOs in generating insights into regional productivity value pools, helping Divisions, Functions, and Regional leadership shape and accelerate the company’s productivity improvement strategy.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Transformation Leadership
    • Lead the execution of global, cross-functional strategic initiatives in alignment with corporate objectives.
    • Translate long-term strategy into actionable transformation plans that deliver measurable business outcomes.
    • Lead governance, prioritization, and decision-making processes for transformation projects in partnership with the SVP and Executive Leadership.
  • Oversight of Program Delivery
    • Lead a high-performing global transformation team and oversee regional program delivery through the SMOs.
    • Ensure consistent use of project management methodologies, tools, and success criteria across initiatives.
    • Serve as an escalation and steering point for critical project issues and interdependencies.
    • Lead large-scale programs directly when business priorities require hands-on executive involvement.
  • Executive and Stakeholder Engagement
    • Partner with Executive Officers and senior leadership to strengthen ownership, alignment, and progress on transformation priorities.
    • Act as a strategic advisor to the Global Executive Committee (GEC), providing updates on progress, risks, and value realization.
    • Build trusted relationships across Divisions, Functions, and Regions to support collaboration and alignment.
    • Support Regional Presidents by helping structure effective approaches and ensuring delivery through the HSMOs.
  • Change and Communication Alignment
    • Work closely with Change Management and Corporate Communications teams to support engagement, transparency, and stakeholder readiness.
    • Ensure transformation initiatives are supported by integrated communication plans.
    • Promote leadership visibility and sponsorship throughout the change lifecycle.
  • Performance and Value Tracking
    • Define and monitor KPIs, delivery milestones, and transformation outcomes across initiatives.
    • Maintain portfolio-level visibility on costs, benefits, and risk profiles to support informed decision-making.
    • Integrate performance management and ROI-based reporting into transformation operations.
  • Continuous Improvement and Capability Building
    • Embed agile and scalable practices across the transformation lifecycle, fostering a culture of learning and adaptability within the team.
    • Identify structural and capability gaps, as well as productivity value pools, across divisional, functional, and regional levels, and recommend improvements to support sustained execution excellence.
    • Strengthen enterprise-wide transformation capability through coaching, knowledge sharing, and governance enablement.
    • Support the development of team members and help create opportunities for internal growth and succession planning.
  • External Vendor and Partner Management
    • Oversee the engagement and evaluation of consulting and implementation partners.
    • Define performance-based KPIs and contractual expectations to ensure quality, accountability, and value realization.
    • Monitor vendor alignment with internal methodologies and ways of working.
    • Establish mechanisms to capture and transfer key knowledge from vendors in a structured way, including after project completion.
