We have an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated in-house Legal and Compliance team in the position of Senior Legal Counsel. In this role, you will be tasked with providing proactive, business-focused legal support to key stakeholders which includes senior management on a wide range of matters. In this position, you can expect variety. Reviewing risks, providing commercially appropriate legal advice, designing and delivering training, identifying and remedying issues within company procedures and processes, the preparation, review and negotiation of different contract types; no day will look the same. You will also represent the UK & Ireland to our EMEA HQ, which includes presenting emerging issues and interests and provide support and coaching to the junior members of our Legal and Compliance team.

Who are we looking for?

  • You will have a LLB or equivalent law degree
  • Demonstrable post-qualification experience in a Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or Life Science industry is preferred
  • Knowledge in commercial contract law and corporate matters
  • You have confidence, and a willingness to take decisions
  • You are service and team-orientated
  • Strong communication skills in all disciplines

This position is based at our UK HQ in Essex, England. To give your team, business and stakeholders the visibility and interaction they expect from this role; you are expected to be on-site no less than two days per week.
