We’re hiring a Market Development Manager to support the procedural adoption and market introduction of iTind – a truly innovative, market-changing procedure – across the North of England and Scotland. This is a fantastic development opportunity for someone with existing Medical Devices experience (Sales, Product Management, Clinical Application, Marketing), who’s ready to take the next step in their career!
What will you be doing as a Market Development Manager?
- Be accountable for the achievement of the financial objectives (revenue) & the non-financial objectives, according to the regional commercial plan.
- Review, adapt and adopt EMEA business plan for iTind including Regional Business Plan, Marketing Action Plan & Market Access Plan.
- Onboard new iTind providers/centres across your territory achieving high procedure availability; continuously engaging and developing services to grow business.
- Become a product expert and attain procedure certification.
- Attend and support iTind clinical procedures performed by HCPs.
- In partnership with your fellow Market Development Manager, plan, execute and control timelines, budgetary costs/estimates and analysis; appraising performance against plan to achieve set targets.
- Support market access and reimbursement conditions by collaborating with cross-functional colleagues and team members.
- Build-up in depth knowledge of BPH market environment and competitive dynamics, continuously generate & engage to build influence within the key opinion network.
- Collate market intelligence, competitor activity & product updates, customer reactions and share with colleagues.
- In close collaboration with Professional Education and Clinical Application colleagues, plan and execute regional certification pathway and training program for physicians adopting the new procedure.
- Support the certification of Business Unit sales team members for them to support procedures autonomously.
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record (5+ years) in delivering commercial success, demonstrating experience in one or more of the following arenas: Product management, Marketing, Clinical application. If we were to describe our 'perfect candidate', they would have Urology experience and pre-existing territory contacts they could leverage to hit the ground running, but this is not essential to apply!
This role will manage a large territory, including the North of England and Scotland which will involve visiting customers, attending and supporting clinical procedures, representing OLYMPUS at national and international events, and therefore require significant travel – so you must have a full and valid driving license, permitting you to drive in the UK.
