This post requires an experienced IT Implementation & Support Engineer for installation and 3rd line support, managing issues and upgrades\\installations from receipt through to resolution within defined service and operational levels. You will have experience of working in an ITIL aligned environment, ideally holding an ITIL Foundation Certification. The individual will work closely with the Project Management & Application Support teams to provide support for all products within the Systems Integration portfolio.
This is a UK wide role, with frequent travel to client sites across England, Ireland, Scotland and wales. When travelling/on client site the role is fully remote, and the in field vs home working balance is around 70/30.
Responsibilities:
- Shall implement and work to all applicable regulatory and quality requirements as stipulated within the KeyMed Quality Manual, Quality Policy, and Quality Objectives.
- Shall implement and work to all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental requirements as stipulated within the HSE Manual, HSE Policies, and HSE Objectives.
- Carry out the implementation and installation of all Olympus IT products.
- Act as an escalation point for all technical project requests.
- Work with Project Managers to deliver work within requested deadlines.
- Complete Change Requests relating to Olympus Systems in the customers live environment.
- Communicate appropriately to internal & external customers.
- Monitor & complete 3rd line support requests.
Qualifications
- 2 years minimum experience in an IT Support position.
- Excellent understanding of Operating Systems (Windows Server: 2003/2008/2008R2/2012/2017/2019; Windows Client: XP/W07/W10/W11).
- Good SQL Server knowledge (versions: 2005/2008/2008R2/2012/2014/2017/2019)
- Knowledge of Windows Active Directory
- Good understanding of remote access services (VPN, remote desktop, etc..)
- Good Knowledge of HL7 and DICOM
- Understanding of Hospital Information Systems – desirable
- Experience of System Migrations and System Upgrades
- Knowledge of SQL Server Backup Restore and Disaster Recovery processes.
- Strong attitude towards learning
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willing to travel and work unsocial hours
