Nursery Deputy Manager - What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery.
  • Leading, motivating, and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional care and learning experiences.
  • Acting as Manager in the Nursery Manager's absence, ensuring the nursery continues to operate smoothly.
  • Promoting high standards across the setting, including EYFS, safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance.
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Supporting staff development through coaching, mentoring, and leading by example.
  • Helping to create a nurturing environment where children feel confident, happy, and excited to learn.

Nursery Deputy Manager - What we're looking for

  • A Level 3 qualification (or above) in Childcare/Early Years.
  • Previous experience in a Senior Room Leader, Third in Charge, Deputy Manager, or similar leadership role within an early years setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements.
  • A positive, organised, and proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting children, families, and colleagues.
