Recruitment & Retention Manager £35,000 | Remote | Travel to Oxford & Leicester 1–2 days per week Are you an experienced recruitment professional with a passion for attracting, developing and retaining great people? We are working with a growing organisation to recruit a Recruitment & Retention Manager to lead its recruitment and retention strategy across multiple locations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can combine strategic thinking with strong people leadership and a hands-on approach to improving recruitment processes and employee retention. The Role As Recruitment & Retention Manager, you will lead a dedicated recruitment team and take responsibility for developing and delivering effective recruitment and retention strategies aligned with organisational growth. You will work closely with HR and operational leaders to understand workforce requirements, improve recruitment performance and introduce innovative approaches to attracting and retaining talent. Key responsibilities will include: * Developing and implementing recruitment and retention strategies to support organisational growth. * Leading, managing and developing the Recruitment & Retention team. * Overseeing workforce planning and ensuring recruitment activity reflects operational requirements. * Building strong relationships with recruitment agencies, educational institutions and job boards. * Monitoring recruitment data and using insights to improve hiring performance. * Working closely with HR and operational teams to support employee retention. * Developing employer branding initiatives in partnership with marketing. * Leading recruitment and retention projects from planning through to delivery. * Supporting the implementation of new recruitment technology and improving existing processes. * Ensuring recruitment practices remain compliant with employment legislation and best practice. * Representing the organisation at relevant industry events and networking opportunities. * Providing regular recruitment metrics, reporting and market insight to senior management. About You We are looking for an established recruitment professional who has experience managing recruitment teams and delivering recruitment strategies within a fast-paced organisation. You will ideally have: * Proven experience in recruitment management, workforce planning and retention. * Previous experience managing and developing a recruitment team. * Strong strategic recruitment and talent acquisition experience. * Excellent project management and organisational skills. * Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management abilities. * Experience analysing recruitment data and using insight to drive decisions. * Experience partnering with HR and operational teams. * Good knowledge of recruitment and HR systems and technology. * Experience improving recruitment processes and implementing new technology. * Experience with employer branding and external recruitment partnerships. * A good understanding of employment legislation and compliance. * A proactive approach to continuous improvement and innovation. Experience within social care recruitment would be advantageous, as would a relevant HR or recruitment qualification.
