We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Manager to join our well-established complex care service in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, organised and proactive professional who is committed to delivering exceptional care and support to individuals with complex health needs.
As the Care Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality care provision, leading and supporting a skilled care team, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory and organisational standards. You will work closely with service users, families, healthcare professionals and external agencies to create a safe, person-centred and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily running of the care service, ensuring high standards of person-centred care.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the care team to maintain a positive, collaborative working culture.
- Complete thorough care assessments and create tailored care plans for individuals with complex needs.
- Maintain compliance with CQC requirements and support ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
- Build effective relationships with service users, families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Manage staff rotas, training and performance to ensure adequate staffing and skill levels.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting in line with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Support safeguarding procedures and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a complex care, nursing or community-based care setting.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Compassionate, approachable and committed to delivering outstanding care.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Level 5 or willingness to work towards it is desirable).
- Competitive salary of Β£30,000 per annum.
