An established plumbing, heating and bathroom merchant is looking for a commercially driven Branch Manager to lead its East Sussex operation.

Combining a busy trade counter with a bathroom showroom, this is a hands-on leadership role with genuine ownership of the branch.

You’ll manage the P&L, lead the team and grow relationships with local plumbers, installers and trade customers.

The role

  • Take full ownership of branch sales, margin, rebates and profitability.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the counter, showroom, warehouse and office teams.
  • Grow existing trade accounts while winning new and lapsed customers.
  • Maintain strong stock availability, accuracy and pricing discipline.
  • Manage purchasing, suppliers, promotions and credit control.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service, safety and compliance.
  • Treat the branch like your own business and identify opportunities for growth.
