  • As an

Assistant Bakery Manager , you'll support the day-to-day running of the bakery while developing the skills needed to become a successful Bakery Manager and future General Manager.

  • Leading the operation
  • Support the day-to-day running of the bakery and retail operation

  • Maintain exceptional food hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness standards
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, waste management and supplier relationships
  • Monitor labour, sales and operational KPIs

  • Support new product launches, seasonal campaigns and local marketing initiatives

  • Assistant Bakery Manager - What we're looking for

Essential

  • Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3
  • Experience as an Assistant Bakery Manager, Assistant Manager, Senior Supervisor, Shift Manager, Café Manager, Bakery Supervisor or similar leadership role
  • Experience working within hospitality, cafés, bakeries, restaurants or premium food retail
  • A hands-on leadership style with a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ambition to continue progressing into a Bakery Manager and General Manager position
  • It would be great if you also have
  • Bakery or premium food retail experience
  • Experience coaching and developing teams
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of KPIs
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
