Job Description

Are you a Registered Manager who believes every child deserves safety, stability, and the chance to thrive? We’re looking for a Registered Manager who shares that belief and has the passion and experience to lead an Ofsted-regulated children’s home.

This isn’t just about running a service. It’s about creating a home where young people feel safe, cared for, and supported to achieve their best. It’s about inspiring a team who share your commitment to making a difference.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading your team to deliver safe, nurturing, high-quality care every single day.
  • Making sure we meet and exceed Ofsted standards, aiming for “Outstanding.”
  • Supporting and developing staff so they feel valued, motivated, and confident.
  • Working closely with local authorities, families, and other professionals to get the best outcomes for young people.
  • Managing resources and budgets so the home is secure, sustainable, and thriving.
  • Being part of the on-call rota to ensure 24/7 support when needed.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in residential childcare – at least 2 years in the last 5 years.
  • At least 1 year leading or supervising a team in a care setting.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) (or willingness to work towards it).
  • A resilient, approachable leader who can stay calm under pressure and bring out the best in people.
  • Someone who cares deeply about children’s wellbeing and is driven to give them the best start in life.

Why join us?

  • The chance to shape a service that truly changes lives.
  • Ongoing training and development – we’ll invest in your growth.
  • A supportive, values-driven organisation that celebrates success and encourages new ideas.
  • Real purpose, real impact – and the reward of seeing children flourish under your care.

If you’re ready to lead with heart as well as head, and you want a role where you can genuinely make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
