About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Management Accountant to join our finance team in Manchester. This role will play a key part in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving business performance across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning support
- Analysis of financial performance and provision of clear insights to senior stakeholders
- Business partnering with operational teams to support commercial decision‑making
- Balance sheet reconciliations and month‑end close activities
- Support year‑end accounts and liaise with auditors as required
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial controls and efficiency
About You
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a management accounting role
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to present financial information to non‑finance stakeholders
- Proficient in Excel and familiar with financial systems/ERP software
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple deadlines
