This is an exciting opportunity to become part of Olympus Power’s new Harrogate office as we continue expanding our national commercial renewable energy operations. Located within Royal House, a premium Grade II listed workspace directly opposite The Stray, the new office combines modern collaborative working with a professional and inspiring environment in the heart of Harrogate. With excellent rail links, premium meeting facilities and a growing team culture, the office will play a key role in Olympus Power’s next stage of growth.
We are looking for confident and relationship-focused Business Development Managers who can identify and secure high-value commercial opportunities while building strong long-term client partnerships. You will be engaging with senior decision-makers across medium and large organisations, helping businesses understand how renewable energy infrastructure can support both commercial performance and sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities- Developing new business opportunities across commercial and industrial sectors
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and closure
- Leading consultative discussions with senior stakeholders including CEOs, CFOs, COOs and Directors
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships and strategic partnerships
- Producing tailored commercial proposals with ROI and energy-saving insights
- Working collaboratively with internal technical, project delivery and finance teams
- Attending networking events, conferences and industry functions
- Monitoring market trends, energy developments and competitor activity
- An ambitious and tenacious sales professional with drive to close deals
- Proven track record of commercial sales in the renewables sector
- Confidence to present energy and financial models
- Understanding of products, and interplay between energy technologies and system design drawings
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Commercially aware with a consultative sales mindset
