Key Responsibilities
- Successfully react to quality issues with minimal disruption to production
- Effectively resolve root causes to minimise potential quality concerns
- Effectively resolve active concerns using the QMS
- Complete mandatory training successfully
- Comply with Health & Safety and Environmental procedures
- Support production in resolving quality concerns with minimal disruption
- Guide staff in analysing defect causes and implementing corrective and containment actions
- Monitor status of all calibrated equipment and assist in completing calibrations as required
- Assist with inspection of products in accordance with quality specifications
- Participate in other ad‑hoc duties and projects as required
- Advise R&D and manufacturing engineers on quality of products and processes
- Carry out statistical analysis of scrap and non‑conforming product
- Self‑manage and resolve internal quality concerns effectively
Qualifications
- Professional experience in a quality related role within a manufacturing/engineering environment
- Manufacturing calibration experience (essential)
- Experience in Geometric Dimensions & Tolerances
- Experience using measuring tools
- Basic IT skills – MS Teams, Word, Excel
- Physical requirement: must be on feet for extended periods and may need to walk between sites
- Some travel required to visit subsidiary companies and suppliers
