As a Lab Operator, you will be responsible for performing functionality, durability and safety tests on a range of OLYMPUS fluid management products including tube sets and flushing pumps.
Please note, this position is offered as a fixed-term contract, planned until 31st March 2026 currently. We have several positions available, with interviews taking place on 21st and 22nd July.Full training will be provided.
Your responsibilities
- Conduct testing as required on various prototype products, as defined by test methods
– Follow written test procedures and safe work practices
– Support any investigations into test unit failures or test equipment failures, to determine the root cause
– Communicate basic failure information such as time and location of failure etc. to Engineers
– Maintain documentation of tests, to allow for clear reporting of test results at the completion of the test
– Perform preventative maintenance on test equipment when required
– Participate in Continuous Improvement & 6S activities - You can demonstrate previous hands-on experience in a technical environment
– You are computer literate, and familiar with the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.)
– You can demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
– You are flexible and can adapt well to change, including working in a variety of different environments as required
– You consider yourself to be a good team player, able to work with a wide variety of people, including internal colleagues and Engineers - Patient Focus – We put patients at the heart of everything
