Your responsibilities
- Responsible for repairing Olympus Medical and Surgical endoscopes following approved processes on an assembly line basis.
- Disassemble, refurbish, repair, assemble, and test products as per the process stage requirements, adhering to Technical Services Global Guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Perform repairs following method sheets and repair manuals, including relevant procedures.
- Ensure health and safety compliance, escalate incidents, near misses, and hazards as needed.
- Maintain product quality at each repair stage, including inspections and checks to meet targets.
- Achieve customer satisfaction by meeting productivity and quality goals aligned with divisional objectives.
- Utilize specialized calibrated tools and test equipment for repairs.
- Embrace continuous improvement through Lean and 6S practices.
- Record repair information and process times using service management systems.
- Follow Shop Floor Management principles, including FIFO for repairs, to manage WIP effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in a technical role.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical tasks, and soldering is advantageous.
- Good dexterity and experience working with small objects.
- Ability to interpret method sheets and technical instructions.
