This post is accountable for the leadership of the ET sales team responsible for the promotion of the relevant Olympus Endotherapy portfolio covering the North of England.
Key Areas
- Sales revenue and gross margin for region (measured monthly)
- Manage relevant customer concerns in line with quality objectives, close with customer (15 days), close investigation (60 days) (measured quarterly)
- Produce a quarterly regional report for the Director, Business Unit detailing any significant changes in competition and hospital activity (measured quarterly)
- Timely and accurate provision of sales forecast to the Director, Business Unit twice per month (measured monthly) – ensure effective use of CRM system to provide optimal & accurate pipeline
- Improvement in Customer Satisfaction for the Business area (NPS Annually)
- Monthly review of the region’s performance in line with the BU strategy with clear measurables tracking the implementation and progress of the strategy (reviewed monthly)
- Regional HCPE engagement (reviewed quarterly)
Key Duties
- Leadership of sales team in line with Olympus principles of Sales Force Effectiveness to meet sales targets, drive growth and customer satisfaction
- Undertake coaching activities to build talent and improve the skills of the team to meet and exceed performance objectives. Facilitate and create opportunities for team members to learn and grow.
- Managing customer requirements to deliver net sales and gross profit against target for the region
- Lead and fully adopt the key principles of the Company’s compliance standards
- Feedback local market trends to Director, Business Unit to drive operational excellence and an enhanced customer experience
- Collaborate with Strategic Account Managers to align and deliver a regional account plan taking ownership of all respective actions
- Support implementation of ‘Go To Market’ business unit strategy
- Onboard new employees through the implementation of relevant training plan
Qualifications
- Ideally educated to Degree standard
- Must have full UK driving licence
- Previous experience leading teams within the medical device sector
- Possess high level capability in the field of Medical Device/ Service Sales
- In-depth working knowledge of the UK NHS provider environment
- A proven track record in the field of Medical Product/Service Sales
- Experienced in effectively engaging with all levels of stakeholders & proactive cross team collaboration
